Begin the Expo with a one-hour intensive introduction to tea with tea guru Tony Laurent, a gentleman with 37 years of global tea experience! Perfect for the curious tea enthusiast, the aspiring barista, and the interested entrepreneur. Learn the basic fundamentals of serving and drinking tea, tea types and how terroir affects tea.

Learn about black teas produced all over the world with tea specialist Ranjit Giri, from Asia to Africa, India to Sri Lanka. In this class you will examine many teas, including those made by the Orthodox and CTC processes.

Witness and taste China's most famous teas with tea master Alex Yurong Pan from Fujian Province, China. This hour-long class will expose you to a range of special flavours from many different tea-growing areas.

Coco Zeng from Yunnan Village is here to teach you about the true tea specialty that is puerh. Sheng puerh tea is often aged in the same way as a fine wine, and along with shou puerh, undergoes an interesting fermentation process. Experience Yunnan Gold, an award-winning puerh tea.

It’s time to dive into the culture of Chai from India! Understand exactly what makes this concoction so outstandingly tasty that it is now on café menus all over the world. The Original Chai Co. will talk to you about the science of making Chai, teach you to blend your own Chai with them, and make the drink at home, too. (All teas and spices are included in the class.) Become a part of the Original Chai Co.’s Chai chemistry, and finish off the class with a demonstration on how to make a classic Masala Chai.
